| A GIFT FROM GOD | ||||
| A gift from God. A gift from the angels. An awakening of an innate ability. However you choose to envision it, he had the ability to heal others. It had developed over time. When he was in his early 20s, he would feel momentary electrical energy bursts during meditation. That's when he first noticed something. He did not question it, but merely supposed it was part of the meditation process. For many years in adulthood, he would experience these infrequent electrical charges throughout his entire body during mediation. It was accompanied with a great emotional swelling that brought tears to his eyes. God's love. God's power. His meditations were always spiritually mindful, but they grew even deeper into prayer-directed energy emissions to others. To the world for all who suffer. To specific persons who suffer from illness or worry. He knew he wanted to heal. To be a conduit of loving energy, seeking no adulation or reward. He knew that to be given such a gift, it must be respected. He must not take it lightly. To those who are given much, much is expected. He must not waste it. It must be shared with others. When he prayed and meditated, he did not ask for this gift for a long time, even though he knew some day he would probably ask. He was not ready then. To be given such a gift and then not use it would be sacrilege. He applied to the adult volunteer program at a local hospital, and was able to interact with children and adult patients at their bedside. She lay there. She was heavily sedated. She was in great pain. Her body beset by malady, her limbs unresponsive. He approached her bed. With both his hands, he reached out and gently held her nearest hand. He closed his eyes, and opened up his heart, and he asked for positive energy from above to flow through him and into her body through his hands. He felt the warmth and electrical energy channel through him into her. For several moments they were entwined. He gently released her hand and let it rest again alongside her body. He thanked God. The second finger on her right hand twitched. Then the third. A tear appeared in her eye. God's healing had begun. He left her and went in search of the next hospital bed.
